When I did the Best Fishing Photo Contest, I had 3 judges and 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Each judge would pick 3, winners the one with the most votes would win. Miss Jan would make a great judge if you decide to go that way. Let me know what you think.

Robert, I just had an idea to have two winners.  Let the first place winner pick his choice of the knives, then the second place winner pick.  Hopefully that would encourage even more participation.  And with the difference in personal preferences, even the second place winner might get his first choice.

Robert, I would be glad to have your help.  I am sure you can give me some good ideas.  You are right.  At least two weeks would probably be better.  It would give people time to take pictures.  We could even extend it if we need to.

I can think of three ways to pick the winner.  You and I could judge the winner, we could have the members vote, or I am beginning to lean toward putting everybody who enters name in a hat and pulling the winner out.  That would give everybody who enters an equal chance of winning.

To enter they would still have to post a gun, shooting, or hunting related picture, with or without an accompanying description or story.

Charles, it will be fun, I hope we have  a lot of people that want to play. I would give the members, a least two weeks to enter.

I would like to post a picture, for your contest page, instead of entering and help judge, instead of participating. Let me know, I would like to help.

The pictures will have to be guns, shooting , or hunting.  Bow hunting will be allowed.

Robert, as host of the iKC Arsenal, I am going to start the contest Monday, Sep. 16.  I will open a new discussion in the Arsenal for the pictures to be posted in.  I will give people a week to ten days to post pictures.  Then it will be opened up for voting.  At this point I am thinking that you will not be allowed to vote for your own picture.  Everybody will have only one vote.  You will not have to post a picture to vote on your favorite.  The person whose picture gets the most votes will get to choose from one of five knives that I have set aside for the contest.  (One of the knives is actually a two knife set.)  The knives can be seen at this link.  The two knife set was added later so you will need to scroll down in the link to see it.

Yes Ken, but I'm disabled now. I can't guide much any more. I have one rich, customer, that's about all now days. I took these, young men just to help them out. I was with Miss $$$, that day...lol

Oh yea, they will definitly cut your line. Without a steel leader, you are toast when you hook into one, unless they get the bottom hook on a lure. They still cut your

line often.    Robert - do you run a guide service? For what? Deer and Fish?

When, I'm pan fishing, I let them go also. They'll brake my string sometimes. 8#

Ken, I may wait to post a deer hunting picture. There's going to be a photo contest in the Arsenal Group. I have just the picture I want to put. It's about a deer hunt, I went on a few years ago.
