I'm new to the group. I'll mostly have to live vicariously through others as I don't get out as much as I used to. Mostly I take short day hikes near the house and occasionally go fishing. I'd like to do more camping but can't convince anyone else to go along.
Which brings me to a couple questions. Where does geocaching and/or orienteering fit into this outdoor living? What about bikng? Unfortunately we can't all be Dan'l Boone anymore. (Sigh)

Okay, normally we have a heck of a time keeping the Squirrels away from all the Bird feeders (we do have Squirrel proof feeders), But they're all over the place getting what they can that falls. Well, all of a sudden the Squirrels are gone! Not one for almost a week now! I wonder what's going on? The Hawks always get one here and there, but we haven't seen hide nor hair of one in days!
