Yes I always have plenty of meat.  Still have some from last season.  In fact planning to do a batch of jerky tonight.

I have my game cameras out.  So far I have gotten pictures of a nine point buck and a couple of eights.  I have two shooting houses.  They are positioned to give me a 75 yard shot at two spots the deer frequent.  I have a ladder stand I use for bow hunting.  It is set up to give a 25 to 30 yard shot where the deer feed on acorns under a big oak tree.

WOW Charles, with those kind of limits, you should never run out of meat. Bet you are scouting and setting up, and getting ready to.

Our bow season here in Alabama opens Oct. 15 and ends January 31.  Our gun season opens Nov. 18 and ends January 31.  The limit in most of AL is two a day, one of which can be a buck.  The limit in my area is a buck and a doe a day.  There is a season limit statewide of three bucks.  (The difference in the limits in most of AL you can kill two does a day.  In my area you can kill only one doe a day.)

My fishing trip is tomorrow morning. I'll be rigging up the boats and rods and bait, this afternoon. The decision of what knife to bring also, is big on the list.

Robert and Ron

Good for you both!  Thanks for keeping you and your buddies safe while hunting.  No outdoor plans, maybe just some morning time with friends this weekend
