You cut a Skeeter in half with a Machete. You got a better knife and better eyes than me. I'd probably just wing him....lol
So far so good. No sign of anymore Copperheads. Now I take my Machete out with me.....for Snakes and Skeeters.
I love them little birds. My wife use to put up a lot of feeders for them. I need to start feeding them again. Maybe, they'll learn the words.lol

They are humming because they don't know the words!
We have several Humming Birds take up residence in our backyard! We usually get some, but htis year seems to be a good one for Humming Birds. I just wish I could figure out what they're humming!
Louisiana's deer limit is 3 Bucks and 3 Does per year. We have a tagging system, every deer must be tagged and call in.
Charles, yes we are on the same page. We can shoot - 3 deer I think - but only allowed 1 Buck per year, the rest must be Does. I have a Tree stand, a ground blind, and several chairs around the farm that I hunt from. I love it.
