It went right out the window.
I had some family obligations and missed going out. We have lots of time left in the season and hopefully we'll get a chance to get out. Saturday we planted trees for a friend, so we missed that morning too.
Johnny, How did the turkey hunt go?
Robert, amazingly beautiful area. people hear "swamp" and think swamp! My personal opinion, a place of peace and nature
We are already talking about a night fishing trips, so hopefully we'll get out after some Bass, Catfish and Carp.
I hope with summer getting here with milder wheather that alot more people take to the outdoors and do a little fishing. It's a great way to relax and see the sights that mother nature has to offer. Oh yea, bring your camera so we can enjoy the sites too.
Thanks Stephen, the fishing conditions change very fast in the swamp, it makes it hard to stay up with where they are biting. The water goes up and down from week to week that makes it very hard to keep up with them. I'd love to bring ya'll fishing.
wow robert great day at the fishing hole.you can sure find"em you can be my fishing guide anyday.great job my friend.......
My cousin and I went on a fishing and scouting trip today in Henderson Swamp for a guided fishing trip we are going to make for some people from out of state in a couple of weeks. We had fun looking around, fishing and enjoying the sights. We have a large group coming to fish for the week and we are all staying in house boats. I have not guided for several years now but my cousin has begged me to help with these people, they are friends of his. I know we will all have fun. These are a few fish I caught while scouting.
I just got back from a little fishing and scouting trip at Henderson swamp in south Louisiana, I'll try post a few pictures of my outing. It was a nice day to be on the water. Ya'll need to get ya'll butts out the house and go fishing!
Turkey season has been in for a while, but I haven't been out once, I know, I know, some hunter I am, right? Well, I plan on getting out there on Friday, I'll be on my own out there, so wish me luck. Hopefully they will be active again.
Robert, that looks like an awesome place to take a break and BS some fishing stories.
