Wow Miss Jan, there are so many dishes, we will be cooking alot of duck, squirrel deer, wild pork, rabbit and then we cook seafood. Mostly, catfish but with some panfish. Then there's crab and shirmp and once in awhile frog and turtle. The place I hunt everyone is trying to out do the other every night. We just take turns, its really something this time of year. Between Chirstmas and New Year is gonna be even more trditional, I'll give you a list of the suppers when I get back.
Yep, I like em too.
They are spicy and good though.
No Billy, I have never seen any real cajun peanuts. We eat peanuts but thats not one of our dishes. They think if you put seasoning on something its Cajun.
As long as you had a good time, Rob. I've been working on a big bag of cajun spiced peanuts in the shell, does that count?
Sorry to hear you guys didn't get anything, but it's always great to hear of a good time.
I went out on Friday and saw three doe that decided to stand at 1,500 yards and enjoy the grass over there. Sat was our last day, but we didn't get out, this eveing there were 4 doe standing in the field. We have another late season, so we will see about getting it done in the snow. : )
Update, we went deer hunting and nobody killed anything. We had a great time though, being out in woods and cooking some great cajun food.
The only diammond back I want to encounter is the clasp on my necklace
Oh Billy, thats an Eastern Diamond back not a Western, that might be the difference.
