I think something is funny with the snake picture. Timber rattlers get that big but not Diamond back rattlers. I could be wrong, as they only have Timber Rattlers where I live. If anyone has the answer please let us know.

I'm back from the camp, the deer hunting was poor but we managed to kill a few squirrels and ducks for supper. I'll post a picture latter.

Sounds like the hunting season is off to a great start.  Keep us informed and be careful.

Craig,

I wouldnt have to be bit by that thing.  The heart attack from seeing it would kill me first

We had two 7 points in the field this evening, opening day is gonna be a good one. : )

I wouldn't want to have to deal with that one with just a knife.

Comment by Billy Oneale on November 17, 2011 at 21:25

I ran across this on my computer the other day. It was killed by a knife or machete. I saved this off of the net a while back. That is a lot of snake.I think it was an Eastern diamondback rattler.

Robert, that would be great. I love seeing knives and I love seeing used knives, but knives at work would take the cake. Please do share some pics, I would really enjoy some field reviews.
