Oh, Alex, that's your knife in the picture. It did a great job skinning this buck.
I'm heading back to the swamp today to hunt for deer again. Our season is almost over. Rifle season ends Sunday and then 1 week of Primitive Weapon and it's all over. A lot of us then start Rabbit hunting until the end of February. I am cooking deer meat tonight for about 25 hunters. I love to cook, so it's a job of love.
That's one of the things I fear the most, in the outdoors. Wasp, Hornets, Bees and Yellow Jackets will hurt you bad. Stay far away.

Hahahahaha. You should be good to go this time of year in MO, assuming it has been bitter cold out there for a while. Bees should abandon the next before winter.

I bought it at Academy Sports, it was the last one they had and it was on clearance. My cameras broken but I'll try post a picture off a phone, if I can get some help.
Wait! I just re-read my note. "Center of the Toenail" - I mean the center of the exposed part of the toenail - the part you would normally cut off. Before cutting it off, notch a "V" and then trim back to where you normally cut the nail. As the nail grows, the "V" will never get filled in, but you will still have to keep the "V" each time you trim your toenails.
Very nice kit Tobias. I solved the ingrown toenail problem by cutting a small "V" in the center of the toenail. Somehow (magic) the toenail knows to try to repair the "V" notch so it "pulls" at the edges toward the "V" notch as the toenail grows, to keep from growing into the skin. Anyway, I haven't had an ingrown toenail since somebody told me to do this.
Here is my favorite and most used Mult-tool. It is actually a portable manicure set. I keep it in my EDC emergency kit. Yes the kit is carried every day. Shown is halfe the kit. The other half consist of large bandages, a sling compression (Ace) bandages and neosporin oinment and pain medications. Manicure set is helpful for more than fingernails but if you've ever had an ingrown toenail / fingernail, you know how they could easily make your life hell in the woods.
