I have never eaten the tails. Sounds interesting.
Robert, cook and eat those Beaver tails.
Well, I have eaten it. The young ones are okay, I guess. It's not something I plan on eating again. I read a book and it said the settlers ate it, to feed their large families. So I tried it a time are two. There's not too much I haven't tried to eat. Some things were good and some things....not so good..lol
Woohooo...Sounds like the two of you will have some good times Robert. OK, I have to ask, do ya'll eat Beaver?
I thought, I would tell ya'll about a Beaver problem over here.
There is a small bayou that runs along and through my property. Well the beavers have damned it up. The parish government has asked that I help the parishes trapper, to trap them. Turns out, the parish trapper is my good hunting buddy. So, I guess, I'll be trapping beavers soon.....lol
You bet, the girls use to hide my best deer rifle every Christmas Eve. They were scared Santa might be shot one reindeer.....lol
Good that you are home with them Robert, that Buck will wait for you!
You are right. I am at home with the family, until after Christmas.
You ought not be shooting reindeer this time of year anyway, Robert. Hahahaha.
I am still not having any luck but things could change after Christmas. Late December and all of January is usually the best for deer hunting in the area of the swamp that I hunt.
