We were cooking young squirrels and a young rabbit. Talk about good grilled, this way. No, my grand daughter doesn't help clean deer. I'm trying to teach her boy friend, how to do it. We now have, T-bones, soup meat, ground meat, roast, and gravy meat. Thank you Lord!

Congrats to your Grand Daughter Robert, I know she will never forget that.

My Grandson shot a Doe yesterday - his first deer. He did the cleaning - I talked him thru it.

Congratulations to you grand daughter.  She a fine young woman. What's the yummy stuff on the grill?  And did you let your grand daughter assist in the cleaning?

Robert, I'm happy for your granddaughter.  Her spike weighed within five pounds of the 8 point I killed yesterday.  It only weighed 135.

Oh, Alex Noot's custom knife, works just fine cleaning a deer. I hope to have a lot more to clean, with it.

We had good luck. My grand daughter, shot a spike buck. { Spike bucks are legal at our club, for women and children}. It weighed #130, we were all very excited. She hunted with me in a ground blind. I'm glad we have some meat to fill the freezer. Yum, yum.

Robert, today I didn't forget the bullets because they are in a buttstock shell carrier on the gun.  But I did forget to put one in the gun!  When I got back to my truck after hunting and unloaded my rifle, I found I had not loaded it!  If I had seen a deer and tried to shoot it, my first shot would have just been a click.

We went hunting last weekend, to try have my grand daughter shoot a doe. Well we realized she had forgotten to get her hunting lic. and deer tags. Just as bad as forgetting the bullets.

We are heading back to the camp/woods, to try again. I have a bunch of pictures I'll post, when we return. Sorry.
