Robert, I haven't killed a deer yet this season, but I have used this knife in the past to field dress deer.  It is a Buck 393 Omni Hunter.

Big Game Knife. If someone kills a big game animal, please show us your hunting knife, you use to skin and dress, your kill. Ken, we know yours but we could see it again. I think, I had everyone, post a picture of the knife they might use but lets see the real thing. Things change, I know mine did....lol

We are going to clean up and mow our lawn for the last time this year. Start hunting again Monday - I can still shoot a big Doe.

Anyone have outdoor plans this weekend? I have family wedding to go to, so my plans are on hold. The weather is pretty, a little on the cold side but very nice. Gun hunting started today, I can't wait to hear if my buddies at the club, did any good hunting..

Jason, I know right now we are all caught up with hunting but this group is anything outdoors. We discuss camping, fishing, trapping, mushroom hunting, flowers, veggie plants, well you name it, about the great outdoors and we are in to it. Just as you have brought up the subject of outdoor cooking. Bring it on, I am sure we have a lot of members that are curious about the outdoors in your home land.
