    Our hunting was off a bit with the full moon. The game movement was around, mid day. I wonder if the same was for ya'll in other parts of the country.

    We pass a great time, with great eating and fair hunting. The woods was full of people, trying to get their deer stands in good shape for rifle season. It was good to see some hunters, I hadn't seen in a while.

    There was a Squirrel Cook Off at a small town near by, for a fund raiser. They were trying to help out a Cancer victim with medical bills.

In Memoriam Comment by Robert Burris on October 17, 2013 at 14:21: Good luck Charles. Our season for bow opened on Oct. 1 but I haven't went yet. I've been busy chasing squirrels and rabbits. I am going to check my bow this week end and plan to hunt it, soon.

I have been taking a troubled teen hunting with me. We have become great friends and he has done well hunting squirrels. He is so eager to do good after his troubled pass. He is working on his GED in school and I hope to talk him into going to trade school later on. He calls me Pawpaw, Ha. Ha. I just know he's gonna make good.
