Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Anybody have any info on this little guy ? I have scoured the net, with little to show for my time. I think the handles are delrin, but not sure. No marks on back of blade, only the "Remington UMC" and "Made in USA", circled tang stamp. If there was any "Remington" , on the blade, it's worn off.

Thanks

Doug,

The markings that you see are the marking that you get and yes the handles are Delrin.  It's quite a chore for me to remember when I picked up the ones that I have, but I think it was sometime in the '80s or early '90s.  The pattern is "peanut" and it came with one or two blades.  I think they were more than likely manufactured by Camillus, but don't hold me to that.  I have four of the single blade and two of the two blade models.  It's a nice little knife to have, but even though you didn't find any information on it, it's not rare.  If you go to ebay and search on Remington peanut knife, you'll find one quite a ways down the page.  I feel like rescuing the poor thing just so it won't be abused anymore.

Jim

Thanks for the info. I figured they weren't rare, just frustrating when I can't find any references. It is a neat little knife and I don't have much in it, so it's a win.

You're welcome.  And yes, they are lovable little things.  I think it's a nice second or third carry knife.
