I've been carrying the bottom knife for the last month or so, pretty much since I bought it. I've found it to be a terrific little EDC.  I have to say in some ways its the most unlucky knife I own.  I must've dropped it at least a a dozen times in the last month, at least three times, this week alone!

Each time I dropped it, it has hit a hard wood floor or an unpadded tile floor. And each time, it has shown absolutely no sign of damage!  No pins have loosened, the bone has cracked, everything remains as tight as the day I bought it.  This is pretty much what I expect of a knife but it is not what I've seen of other brands.

When I dropped my brand new Bear & Son BSA whittler about a year on the same hard wood floor a scale popped loose! It cost three times as much as my canittler. 

When I accidentally dropped one of my Case Stockmans on a tile floor several years back, it sustained a hairline crack in the bone by one of the pins.  That knife cost about four times as much as this canittler

Mind you I hardly ever drop a knife, and never do it intentionally.  This little canittler has just been very unlucky in the numbe rof drops but has come through with shining colors and no damage. 

I remember the good old days growing up playing mumbly peg with cheap pocket knives. They took a beating and never broke.  I'm afraid if I tried to do that with any of the American made knives today, it would be ruined in the first round.

But after all the unfortunate drops this little Canittler has had, I know I could count on a Rough Rider for a game of mumbly peg if I had a mind to play.  And At $10 bucks it is hard to argue about just how good that make this knife.
