Patrik, those are all great looking Endura's! I especially like the partially serrated black oxide version. Sweet!
Patrik...
Great knives.
Another interesting new prototype announced.
True story my friend I do agree with you the para 2 is one of the hall of fame most best sellers for spyderco i did had two of them and sold them just to find out i miss it so i bought me another one the problem for as a collector is when a knife is over a 100 $ I rarely use id for me it is mostly a collectors piece and goes to the display case and I know that is a shame because knifes like the para 2 are made to me used... Thank you Clint for this nice true story.
Yes the Lava G10 is a great little pocket knife. However, it does look similar to many other Spyderco knives. I gave my Uncle Mike a Spyderco Para-Military 2, C81G2
about three months ago. Uncle Mike is 80 years old and still works his 2,500 acre farm in Kansas. Most men at the age of 60 would like to be in the shape Mike is. Anyway, I didn't tell him how much this knife cost. I just gave it to him and told him to use the Spyderco just like he did his Old Timer Stockman.
Well he has used this knife to cut open feed sacks, seed sacks, scrape off gaskets wherein it was knife blade on metal, cut rope, cut out vines and other vegetation jamming up the combine and generally abusing the Spyie. I met him and my Dad (89) at my father-in-law's funeral last weekend. I saw he had the Para-Military 2 clipped to his suit pants pocket. I asked him how he like the knife. Mike said it was a "Damn good knife." He said it was hanging in their and has not let him down. As Mike tends to loose a pocket knife from time to time, I told him to make sure he didn't loose this one as it cost about $180.00. He said he would be sure to not loose this one. For him and my Dad to pay more than $40 for a pocket knife just would not happen. Mike can pay cash for a $150,000 tractor but would not pay $180.00 for a pocket knife. I always found this to be funny. Since I give Mike and my Dad knives for their birthdays and Christmas, they never have to buy one anyway. Spyderco makes a good product.
oh yes I do agree
