Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Back around 1980 in an edition of The Gun Digest Book of Knives, B.R. Hughes wrote an article about how most people take more knife than they really need with them Deer hunting. And to prove his point he recounted a time when he went Deer hunting and he forgot his regular fixed blade hunting knife. The only cutting tool he had with him at the time was a Buck 303 3 1/4" Stockman! He proceeded to dress the Deer out and had very little to no problems!

So, if you show your friends a 3 1/4" Stockman and say that's all you need to dress out a Deer, and they don't believe you, tell them the story of B.R. Hughes and his 3 1/4" Stockman!

LOL, I can imagine while no impossible..a more time consuming endeavor than with a fixed blade

Well I have never tried that to be honest Craig. I will say though you could do it. Heck anything sharp enough to cut would get you what you need. Might take a little longer only.

I'm sure a sane person wouldn't want to do it on a regular basis! I wouldn't! LOL! Of course his point was in the direction of guys that would take huge honking fixed blades out hunting when something half as big would do! lol
