Group is moving

This group will be deactivated on July 4, 2014. As I begin to set us up for transitioning to the new format our provider is offering, we will lessen the amount of groups that we host and those that are not showing activity regrettably will be the ones that need to be deactivated. Thank you for the posting. Not wanting to lose the information in this group it will be transitioned to http://www.iknifecollector.com/group/odds-ends Box Full of Knives

“Stepped Barlows” with a single clip blade made of CPM 154 Stainless steel and marked with the “Electric Cutlery” trade mark. And yes, the chamfered handles will be

crafted from the historic rosewood that was harvested from the old Cattaraugus factory building in Little Valley, NY. They will be 3.5 inches long when closed.

It's been a very long time coming but we have a new JBF knife coming up very soon. Take a look:

Mike,

This is wonderful news!  The historical articles are just amazing and the site is shaping up very well.  Derek has done a good job and I will visit often to see all the new stuff going up!

Some good news to share with all of you. Derek has reworked our website and it is really looking good. We don't have knives for sale yet but Derek has done what we have always wanted to do which is to put a site together with info about JBF Champlin and his work in the cutlery business. Please check it out and make comments on what you read and see. We hope that you enjoy it.

All the best and as soon as we have a knife in the works we post it on the site. Thanks again for all the support Mike & Derek.

Just so I am clear...This is just like the one that is being offered for sale right now.  You only have one right?

Comment by Michael A Losicco on December 6, 2013 at 5:37

If anyone is interested I have a bone handled Teardrop from our first offering that I would sell. It is mint in the tube with the wiping cloth. It is number 10. I bought it back not long ago from the original buyer of set 10. Derek and I will buy back any of our knives with no questions asked.

There you go, the silver lining to this dark cloud!
