A TL-29 or 27 would certainly be classified as a Knife of the Great Outdoors. Lineman used them as well as military electricians. They were and are used for good carry/work knives. Some have…Continue

I am by no expert on fishing lures, new or old, but my latest trip to Dowagiac, Michigan, home of the Original Heddon Lures peaked my interest. I suspect others out there either use or collect …Continue

I was recently asked to recommend a low priced but good quality Scout knife. Well I've purchased just about every scout knife I could find that is currently being produced. Currently the only two I…Continue

Clay, it would take a lot more than you giving your opinion about Amazon to offend me. Furthermore, discussion often meander and without intent. As this is the comment wall, it would be hard to hi-jack it as there is no real thread but a variety of topics going on at once.
Tobias, what do you think of my new USMC Fighting Knife - smaller version in the fixed blade site? I guess they made larger ones and smaller ones. I had never seen a cut down one before, but I really like it.
Sorry to offend. Tobias. Just wanted folks to know that eBay is not supportive of sellers who misrepresent a product. Consider me reprimanded and outta here.
I'm not one to try and silence any voice but seriously this page is for people who want to talk about knives used in the Great Outdoors and while drifting in the stream is permissible eventually threads should move elsewhere. IKC does have places for this conversation and I would prefer it to move to such a spot. Heck, I might even give my two cents on the topic in the appropriate venue but this is not the appropriate venue. This spot is for discussing knives used in the great outdoors. Thanks for your cooperation.
Now lets get back to Knives and the Great Outdoors!
Just a thought, Clay, et al. Ya might want to start a new thread on this. I hear that admins. everware is mean as snakes, and "highjacking" is outlawed.
Do you mean to tell me that iKC members are not a bunch of over-the-hill, grey-haired guys/gals, just a-sittin on the porch, in bib overalls, makin small sticks outa big sticks?! I declare!
It seems that some here are not willing to go quietly into obscurity. Glad to hear it!
Thanks, Clay. I bookmarked your blog page, and commend you on your "fight" with e-Bay.
Thanks, Clay. I didn't know Amazon was pushing for taxes on online purchases.
I shot a ton of rocks in a sling shot, when I was a boy. I got pretty good with it, to.
I have a cousin that has a Blow Gun. It's really something.
That rabbit will make a fine fricassee as son as I get my Josh Hill designed Blow-Gun/Sling-Shot 2 in 1 combo!
