Going to enroll my boy in the Pedoy school of Escrima this summer. I've already taught him some basic skills in stick and knife fighting.
I definitely think a knife is the absolute LAST resort...at least the blade...you can really hurt someone if you punch then with the butt of that knife! I always carry a whistle with me as well!
