Usually these are Japanese made and have metal or plastic scales. This is the first one I have seen with leather wrapped scales. I have several plain metal ones. They sometimes have a curved cuticle pusher tool that some folks mistake for a mini spoon.

this is a vintage leather knife i got from ebay i dont know much about it.does any body else know about these knives
