I was working part time at a pawn shop that had just opened and he bought one

of these sets when he got his standing Schrade/Uncle Henry display case.

That was just a little while before I opened my own shop and that would put

the date in the 1981 area.

I also bought 3 of the stockman knives at a gun show from a large knife dealer

who said he had bought a large lot of the unsold and partial sets.

All of the knives were serial numbered and of very high quality.

Jan, I believe you're right on that.....John K said at one time that this set was made in 1990.
