That's a beautiful buck and a great photograph, Carl! How close were you when you snapped this pic? I'm thinking you must have used at least a 200mm lens?

This guy wandered into the back this afternoon. I guess he liked it so much he plunked himself down and chewed his cud for an hour or two. Look at the musk glands on his hind leg, that dark stain , he has been chasing the does in my area. About 8 or 9 hang around all year. I hope he is the daddy of all the fawns I saw this summer. This is a real nice South Texas White Tail.
