I finally found one!!! The steel on this era ofCase kitchen knives is exceptional. High carbon, hand forged between 1940/64. ,I had one of a different style that I gave to Ernie Emerson for his wife to use at thanksgiving. I have looked for years and years for this one and I found it!!!

That’s a nice knife to have you have to know something about knives and Damascus to notice a knife like yours.

Good score...  I'm guessing it was an estate sale find (or an auction from an estate sale)?

I really like that cutting board -- spalted maple?  Whatever it is, I like it!
