Looked on the Benchmade site and there is no mention of this Ares variant. So it is rare indeed.

Thanks, If this is a Gold Class then Yes it's my first. I just thought it was a limited run. I did some trading several years ago for it...

I have several other BM Autos, fixed, & folders I guess near 20 or so, and this one is my Favorite.

I think the Wood is "winewood"
