If I'm not mistaken, Shane, this parallelogram tang stamp was made between 30 & 46? I believe the earlier stamp was a diamond shape? But, hey! You're right -- Trying to date some of these older knives can get pretty confusing.

Shane the most that I can tell you about this knife is that it is an old Imperial Cutlery Cattleman pattern that was probably made sometime between 1930 and 1946? It in fact does say "iKC" on the blade's tang. Standing for Imperial Cutlery Company. Beyond that I really don't know any more.

It's Imperial Knife Company, I don't have any clue as to it's age.  I've heard that, that particular stamp was used from 1917-1930?, but the info I have found about it has been sketchy to say the least.

I like any knife that has a punch blade. And please tell me who the maker of this knife is. It's probably just wishful thinking? But that tang stamp looks like it says "iKC.? Cool old knife!
