Was offered one at a knife show in Indiana about two years ago, not sure if was a beltrame though. That's a beauty.
Those pics are amazing and it's always hard to capture the beauty of Abalone and MOP! I'd bet that beauty is getting wore out by your eyes about now!
Hi Max,
I hope you had a chance to see all of the photos I put up. It was very difficult to capture the true color of this knife. This photo is one of the best representations. Frank uses the best Abalone available I'd say it's presentation or museum quality Abalone. In fact all of his MOP, Abalone and other scale materials are the finest. I know his supplier and he has access to highest grade material in the knife making industry. It's another one of those family business that get's passed down and the relationships you build over many many years makes it possible to always get the best of the best. I'm never disappointed in the scale material used by Frank B. It's always top shelf, top notch, tip top, top of the top as you can see I'm very happy with his knives.
Thanks again, Max, for taking another look at my new knife and for leaving another comment,
John
