You can't go wrong with Tidioute. This is something like a Barlow which has a longer bolster.If it was a boys first knife he would sharpen it again and again and again.

   Many thanks Derek, like you I am a 15 boys knife fan so I couldn't pass on these little guys, and who knows if they will make them again.

That is very nice Terry! I have a number of the #15 pattern at 3 1/2 inches which I like ... the #14 at just a tad over 3 inches would be a handy size in certain circumstances.
