1989 Remington Bullet Trapper Pattern with Cocobolo Handles R1128
This is the awesome 1989 Bullet Year Knife R1128 Big Bullet Trapper, 4 3/8" closed. This knife has the grained Genuine Cocobolo Wood scales and is mint in the original issue box with Paperwork. The Spey blade features the Remington Trade Mark blade etching and both the Skinner and Spey blade are tang stamped with an encircled Remington UMC; The Skinner blade is stamped with Made In U.S.A. around the encircled Remington UMC.
The shield style is the famous Bullet variety. The rear tang of the Skinner blade is pattern stamped with R1128 and the rear tang of the Spey blade is date stamped with 1989.
The blades are produced with 440 Stainless Steel and hardened and tempered to a Rockwell reading of 56-59.
This is the ninth model of the New Issue Bullets. It is also the first of these knives that did not have a Delrin handle. It is Cocobolo wood, the same as the original R1128. Except for the handle it is the same knife as the R1123. The most popular knife pattern in the Bullet series of knives.
