I have done some asking around with the Benchmade collectors, and the unanimous response is that this is a Chinese made fake of a Benchmade. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Unfortunately, more and more brands are being counterfeited and they are getting better and better at doing it.

I have not been able to find anything on this one either. Is it possible that someone took a Benchmade blade and made a custom frame for it?

I bought this knife at a market for really cheap. I just connected with it, hard to explain. Got it home, sharpened it up and became increasingly impressed. I love sharpening by hand, maybe a bit obsessive, but I think one gets a great feel for steel when you interact with it like that. I bought a 440c knife at the same time and that blade sharpened up much more easily that did this benchmade. So I think the benchmade is harder. But that is just a guess. It has become one of my favourite folders, second to my endura, and I am hoping someone here can help me to learn more about it. Google has been no help.
