HDTV sounds great and very understandable!

Max, that ebony BP on Sooner IS a real honey of a knife. No doubt about it. However, on that same page they have a Stag handled Humpback Stockman that got my heart beating real fast, too. Sadly, the new HDTV that put Beyonce in my living-room last night during the game ate up most of my knife allowance for the rest of this month and probably most of next month as well. *sigh* I appreciate you pointing me in that direction, though. Thanks!

Yes they are on the slender side.
Sooner has a First Run Ebony go sale and its a Beauty!
Comment by Ron Cooper on February 4, 2013 at 0:24

No worries, Max. What do they say? "Better late than never."

That's a real beauty - First run, at that! One of these days I'm gonna just haul off and buy one of these. Every time I'm at Bass Pro I ask to handle one. They're about the same size as my GEC #23 Pioneer. Maybe a little thinner? I need one!

Thanks for your response! You've re-kindled my desire for a Backpocket.

Ron, so sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you. I just saw that I hadn't replied.

It is Dark Molasses and SS!

Is that Chestnut and CV or SS? Or is it Molasses and SS? Regardless, it's beautiful. I need a Backpocket!
