Peter,

The GEC Burnt Stag Barlow came to me via an eBay auction over a year ago. So, although it is indeed a 2008 Northfield offering, I have no idea if it was a CKW SFO? It bears an etch indicating that it was 1 of 100 ~ The number 30 is engraved on this knife's obverse side's bolster. (see below)

As you can see it has a Master Wharncliffe blade as well as a Pen secondary. It came in the customary GEC Northfield tube with no indication that it was anything other that a regular Great Eastern production run. In fact, here are GEC's production totals for this #25 Barlow pattern in 2008:

Burnt Stag    95 pcs. serialized

Frontier Bone   50 pcs. serialized  2 pcs. no serial number

Smooth Banana Peel   46 pcs. serialized  

Red Hangman Bone   38 pcs. serialized

Perhaps you know more than I do? If this is one of the knives you think it might be, I would love to hear more.

that stag GEC barlow is that from CUMBERLANDKNFEWORKS SFO run in 2008? ...looks like it. if it is i have some info for ya on that piece.
