Indeed this is one in a set of five that Jim Parker & Jim Frost commissioned Schrade-Walden Cutlery to produce for their American Eagle Bicentennial Commemorative Series. There were 12K knives made in each of the 5 sets in 1976. This particular knife bears the serial #06669 and pays tribute to Nathan Hale. The banner in the eagle's talons is inscribed with a portion of Hale's famous quotation. It reads "one life to give." 

Here is what the entire set looks like (not mine)...

As you can see there was a wall mounted frame for the entire set. And yes, again! That certainly was the same eagle that parker used on so many of his knives of that era. I believe that the Parker/Frost association ended in 1978?

Very Nice! Did this come out back in 1976?

The Eagle on the blade and box reminds me of the one Parker used.
