Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

I posted a discussion .. a tutorial of sorts .. in the Repair & Mod group relative to fabricating a mosaic pin. What's pictured is the result of that discussion.
Mosaic pins can really set a knife off. They have the potential to add to the aesthetic appeal of any knife. They can also add a considerable amount to the cost. All those reasons enhance the value of being able to fabricate one's own. Hence, the tutorial.

Thank You both, John & allanm.

It can indeed make a knife "stand out". To date .. I've only done it for knives for my Daughter, my Wife ... and ... one really simple one for myself. It is .. as you stated .. "fiddly" .. at best. For me .. I'm just making it special for the 2 girls I love in life. For the knifemaker though .. I believe it has the potential to make or break a sale. They can be a pain to make ..but.. expensive if purchased outright.

Oh that is good Dale , you have put some time into getting the hang of that .
I have been following your masterclass , and am somewhat glad that I don't make knives as it looks a little fiddly . Really makes a knife stand out from the common herd though !!

The discussion .. tutorial if you will .. is located over in our Repair & Mod group.

I creatively titled it "Mosaic Pins".

.

Enjoy
