The online community of knife collectors, A Knife Family Forged in Steel
1095 steel and Wengé scales. This is the first "Little Undertaker".
It still needs a little extra polish on one side (it got scratched somehow) but other than that it's all done.

Love it!
Hey Ron, no jimping on the spine of the blade. A blade this small will never really see any kind of work that would actually need jimping.
I'll take more detailed pictures later once I have more of the set ready. The steel is 3mm (around 1/8" thick).
Alex,
That Lil' Undertaker is looking good! I do hope you'll snap some more pics of that coffin shaped handle? Right now I'm straining to see how you placed those pins on the tail of this devilish lil' guy. Did you do any jimping on the thumb ramp? How thick is the blade?
Good show, my friend!
Thanks Jan. I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out even though these scales were my THIRD choice. (I messed up two pairs of scales before making these).
It sure is looking good
