(ps, I don't get any kickbacks from them. I've just befriended them on facebook, they're really good people and are trying to break into the western market with their premium stuff.)

But the guys who do these are VERY good. Have a look at the other pins they do:
there's some very complex ones in there.

Thanks Ivars. Yeah those guys who make the pins are pretty good at it. Personally it's one of those things that I decided I just didn't want to mess around with doing myself. After all you can't do EVERYTHING yourself. It's not like I have a steel refinery or a wood processing plant in my backyard :-)

It's nice isn't it? I've got one more of their and it's much more complex than this one. I'll have to make a knife JUST so that I can use that pin on it hahaha.
