I just started working on this one for my grandsons birthday. That's opalized Jasper in between pieces of Lapis. That Jasper is some really hard stuff!

I agee, some stone that I 've used in my customs.is is a bear to work wth..I never knew I would ever need 12000 grit until I tried finishing out some Sugalite stone  bolsters.I found that going 2000.4000,6000, 8000, and 12000 grit will make even the toughest stone shine like a gem .BTW, beautiful knife !!!
