Vintage Italian Trap Door Stiletto

Hello Everyone,
Vintage Italian Trap Door Stiletto 8.5" OAL, 5" Horn Scales, 3.5" Stailess Steel Swedge Mirror Polished Blade, Bolsters, Button, Safety and Pins, Tang Stamped PATENT over ROSTFRIE, except for bug bites on bottom of the backside scale the stiletto is in very good condition. Fires fast and hard with minimal blade movement. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone can tell me the approximate age and who may have manufactured this stiletto. Your comments are welcomed.

Here is additional information about this knife. It was shared by a knife maker in Italy who knew the maker of this knife.

The Trap Door you have is very very rare because only a few pieces were made with the spring wire that keeps the door up. I only have seen 3 pieces of this model. Two I sent in US an one is in my collection.
These knives was made in Maniago in the 60's by Rosa Uliana Primo and brother. He made 3 models: one cow horn handled (whit and without spring wire) with trap door on the right, one aluminium handled with trap door on the left and one black plastic handled without trap door with double gravity action. This last one is also rare. Untill some years ago these knives were very very rare but 6 years ago I found the old stock in a factory warehouse that had the exclusive but sold only a few pieces so in these last years I have sent in US about 50/60 pieces some in horn and some in aluminium.
