A teacher's knife

Some time ago a friend asked me to make him a knife. His exact words were: "Make me a teacher's knife!"

So I started thinking what could a teacher do with a knife. Finally I figured out, that he can sharpen a pencil, peel an apple or cut his veins, watching what a new generation is growing.

So I decided to make a small, fine knife, to contrast the owner (I am 186sm high, about 110 kg, and look tiny next to him).

I already had the blade - the same like "The baby sister". But I wanted to make the bevels a bit higher and to thin the cutting edge. When finished, the thickness ot the edge was less than 0,1mm.

The handle is rotten oak with red fiber spacers. Sfter shaping it is impregnated with linseed oil.

I decided to make the sheath as if it is 100 years old (don't know why, but I like it).
