Oh, we cut that tang down and the blade had a forward shoulder which I made the finger guard fit by making the guard fit down the blade from point end then pinned it all with internal pins.

This knife blade had a huge full tang. The owner purchased the blade at a show a couple of years ago and wanted to build it himself - was the plan. He saw our work at a show and asked if we would finish it up for him since he never started and decided he did not have the time or tools required. Thank you for you complements!

This was a great work and both sides are very happy with out come. This was a couple of months working out likes and dislikes and then presenting completed knife and sheath.
