John, I am fairly new here myself. If you don't get a good answer right away, you might want to try this link. This is for a group within this site. http://www.iknifecollector.com/group/remingtonknifeclub

Hi, I'm new on this forum and I am a knifemaker and a collector of
mainly Case brand knives. One of my older brothers is also
an avid collector. Now, my oldest brother seems to have caught the bug.
He lives in another state and emailed me he had thought a 1994 Remington
Bullet mini trapper with Delrin handle material and brass pins and a
lanyard hole. He had aquired it from a gentlemen who carried it and was in
excellent condition, except for some blade tarnish, which suggests carbon steel.
When I emailed this photo of a 1991 bullet mini trapper,he replied that on his
knife, the pin placement was different, the lanyard hole was smaller, and the
handle material was lighter. MY research without actually seeing the knife has
been unproductive. He is coming to town this weekend and I would love to give
him some answers. Any ideas on how to identify/date this knife ?? I am primarily
a Case collector and knifemaker and am not that up to date on Bullet knife identification.
