I have only tried the one. It was made in China. I may have to invest in a good one, one of these days. Thanks for the advice.

Jeremy,

Have you tried the magnesium fire starters? One word of caution.....dont buy the stuff made in china, you might not ever get a fire started as the magnesium is really cheap stuff. I have had good luck with the Doan's fire starting kit, made in USA. The magnesium ignites far quicker than most others. I wasted a lot of money on magnesium starters before I figured it out.
