JJ .. that's 2 pcs isn't it ??

The grain in the handle is running ... the way it should
The grain in the axe head is running perpendicular to that in the handle ..

or ... am I hallucinating ??

I can even see the bevel for the grind ... too cool !!

You could do some serious damage to one of those opinel !!
