L: My grandfather made from a saw blade, R: Anton Wingen Jr. Sclingen Germany (the story goes it saw combat action in WWII)

One day when my dad was young he was camping by a river when he met another man and his son. The man wanted my dads stool so dad traded his stool to the man for this knife. The man told dad that a German had killed his friend in the war with this knife and he had taken if from the German and then killed him with it. The only part of the story that I know for sure is true is that my dad traded a stool for the knife, but I have no reason to dispute the story.

That's really all I know about it.  My dad gave it and the other one to me some time after Grandpa died.  I'll ask my dad if he knows anything more about the stag handled one.
