Those are really really nice, Jeremy.

I suspect you have a lathe. A small lathe is on my list of "desired" tooling ..just.. can not justify it yet.

I did pick up a mini mill a few years ago & greatly expanded my capabilities.

I've found the Osage Orange to be beautiful wood that creates very attractive results.

Very pretty wood ..&.. as you know , rather hard too.

I got a few pieces from a knife buddy of mine. I made several items for him and got to use the left overs. Here are a couple of bowls, I made for him, from the Osage orange.

It grows locally here in MO & I've harvested some .. after "seasoning" for a couple years in my garage .. I've begun to use some of it.

Yes, it is rather hard.

However,

!!! .. It is some pretty wood .. !!!

It is Osage Orange Dale. I really like the looks of it. Kind of hard to work with, but well worth the effort.
