This is the first Damascus Bowie to make it into my collection. I purchased this piece several years ago to see what a "hand crafted" Damascus blade would be like from Pakistan.

It's a nice knife, but it's heavy and unbalanced. It does have a lot of steel in it and it is full tang - but it is definitely not made to actually be used in the field. Made by Ayaan Knives, it is very sharp, and the handle intersections are done very well - no distinction of feel between the Walnut and Bone scales.

Spec's:
Blade Style: Bowie Clip Point
Blade Type: Damasus; Blade is hand forged with 1095 and 15N20 high and low carbon steel. The blade is tested to 58 HRC on the Rockwall scale.
Blade Length: 7"
Blade Gauge: 5.06 mm
Handle: Damascus guard, Walnut scales with camel bone.
Overall length: 12"
Weight: 350 g
