im sure the thick ness is fine i just dont need the carved out portion of the knife !

no i think in would like it without the hook carved into the spin! i would rather have the spine of the knife without the work on the back of the blade.

This knife is a full tang piece, and the thikness of my billets is more than other manufacturers over here.I think you showed your concern about the thickness from spine.
