thankyou all for your kind and very thoughtful comments.beige was a great cat,and loved by everyone that ever met her,I believe. she was very gentle, and unlike most siamese, she was extremely mild tempered and loving...I got her shortly after hurricane andrew, I lived in homestead fla. when andrew hit, and lost everything..she was my little companion thru rough times then too.she was one of 6 kittens that were homeless and her 5 brothers and sisters had been killed by someone,..and i only took her to save her life...I would have never thought that 20 yrs later I would still have her..good animals find a place in your heart, and she found hers in mine! she is missed, and never forgotten! thanks all and ron, that is a sweet story, thankyou!
Sorry for your loss Jeff. Loss of a pet is something only pet owners can truly understand. I've been down that path a few time myself.
Jeff, I am a dog person, not a cat lover. A pet that is special to you can never be replaced. I don't think it matters what type of animal it is, as long it is your special buddy. I have lost some good friends over the years and so, I feel your lost.....Sorry, good buddy.
Hey, you're quite welcome, Dave!
I hope that it brings some peace to our friend Jeff, also. It's never easy to lose a family member.
Cheers, mate!
Ron this is truly beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing "The Rainbow Bridge".
I have read this verse many times, and it always brings tears to my eyes and an ache in my heart.
Because I, like you, have always felt closer with my animal friends, and they have given so much to me.
"The Rainbow Bridge" gives me a little bit of hope, that perhaps one day happy times may come again.
I miss my Friends..........
Jeff,
I am saddened to learn of your loss. I have always felt closer to animals than I have to people. The only unconditional love I have ever known has come from my furry friends. So, in sensing what Beige must have meant to you and your family, please accept my heartfelt sympathy and condolence for the loss of your feline friend.
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

I am sincerely saddened by your loss. There is no friend like a good pet and they cannot be replaced. They leave fond memories and an empty spot forever. She looks like a wonderful, loving and sweet little lady.
Thank you for sharing her picture. She is honored.............
