From the very first time that I picked up a Benchmade Bone Collector 15020, I loved it. My first one is the version with Green and Black G10 handle scales. If was a first production run, so I've babied it.

I later picked up another 15020...this time with the Walnut wood handle scales. Beautiful knife. Again, a first production run, so I've babied it.

Because the first two were too nice to use "hard", I decided that I needed to have a total "user" version. Enter the black G-10 handled version shown in this photo. To those critics that claim that Benchmade doesn't make any "hard use" blades...I say this; "You are so full of fertilizer that dropping you in the desert would produce a jungle in less than a year. Even if it never rained." I own a bunch of very "hard use" knives. From all kinds of different makers...from production to semi-custom to full-on custom. This stands toe-to-toe with nearly all of them...and easily with every single production knife I've seen.

On the production knife side of things...when Benchmade's quality is really "on", it's completely on. And that was the case when this knife was made. This knife is a perfect example of why I love Benchmade.
