Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

I've previously mentioned that I really like how Roger at KnifeWorks (www.knifeworks.com) puts together limited edition runs with some of this country's best production knife companies.

The knife shown here is the latest such LE scenario from Roger. This is a Benchmade, 805 TSEK Axis. This is a fairly large folding knife. It features:

* M390 "Super Steel", satin finished

* Sculpted G10 handle scales

* Anodized blue back spacers (can't see these in the photo)

* A polished "Benchmade made in U.S.A." pocket clip

* The Axis Lock system

* 5 1/2" closed and 9 3/8" open

This is one very nicely-made knife! All the knives in the limited edition run of 400 have serial numbers. While mine isn't as low as I'd like, I'm at least in the top third.

By the way, one of the nicest things about an initial unboxing of a new Benchmade knife...is it's smell. Yeah...that may sound weird, but I like that smell enough that it rings my bell as much as "new car" smell does. Go figure!

Another "THANK YOU" goes out to Roger from Knife Works. Clearly one of the very best knife dealers in the USA! Possibly the best...
