One of the fun things about knife collecting is that we get to see limited edition releases from our favorite manufacturers. Spyderco has their "sprint runs"...and I love chasing those models. Well, Benchmade has their own versions of "sprint runs"...like the model shown in this photo; the 527BK-USA Mini Presidio Ultra. From a construction standpoint, this is the same knife as the standard Ultra Presidio. What makes it "collectible" is the bright blue Noryl GTX handle scales and the black blade with the USA Shooting Team logo on it.

As for the Ultra Presidio platform, you get great Benchmade quality, nicely done 440c steel, Axis Lock technology...all for a super affordable price. The "Mini" version makes for a very hard-to-beat EDC knife.
